Helloween, los maestros teutónicos del power metal más melódico han compartido online el vídeo oficial del tema “Lost in America”, incluido en el tracklist de su nuevo álbum de estudio “My God given right”, decimoquinto disco de la carrera (publicado en mayo de 2015).
Sobre el nuevo disco, el grupo (actualmente formado por Michael Weikath, Markus Grosskopf, Andi Deris, Sascha Gerstner y Daniel Löble) declaró:
“La idea era realizar un proyecto capaz de recorrer treinta años de metal, desde nuestro debut hasta la era contemporánea. Hemos utilizado principalmente equipos analógicos, casi vintage: el resultado es francamente sensacional”.
Un disco que resume la carrera de la banda creada en 1984:
“Está claro que es posible reconocer elementos de ‘Walls of Jericho’: nuestro estilo, nuestras canciones y nuestra forma de hacer metal no ha cambiado y muchos temas del nuevo álbum podrían ser incluidas en ese tracklist. Es algo que demuestra que la música y el metal no tienen fecha de caducidad, si una canción funciona, da igual que haya sido grabada en los Ochenta, Noventa o Dosmil…”.
